Subject: Layout-cache & LoadOnDemand
Just wanted to double check this before I get to coding - has Slouken mentioned any possibility of providing layout-cache functionality for demand-loaded add-ons in the future? Thanks.

I can't find the post, I think it was in the 1.7 changes thread, but I provided an example of saving frame positions in demand loaded addons.

The Blizzard battlefield map does this, BTW. That's what I was working on when I ran into the need... :)

Q u o t e:
Well, mostly kidding, I wondered if it might be appearing off-screen but it seemed like an odd thing to check.

It's actually possible, I ran into that when I had some bugs in the code. Q/A hasn't reported it, and I haven't seen the problem, but it's possible there's an addon that moves it or something that might hose things.

Heheh, no, no plans for it.
