Was just reading through the news about the upcoming expansion and saw this sentence that sparked a thought.
"Whatever authority these orcs answer to is unknown"
Well since a new race to blizz is simply changing the skin tone and giving magical powers(Blood elf)....
Could the alliances new race possibly just be a black orc/Grey Troll etc. etc etc...
I mean,it would be so easy to do..
But just like the topic says, do any of you think blizz would actually do this to us?

You realize, of course, that the Blood Elf model is not just a retexturing of the Night Elf, but is instead its own unique model set with its own animations, correct? :)

Many of the Blood Elf animations weren't done by BlizzCon, so they used some Night Elf animations (the female more than the male). That can make them appear more alike than they truly are.
I assure you, however, they're different models, and we're still hard at work making animations for the expansion.

yes but blood elves were ALREADY made and already in the game.
plan on it being just another model with different colors, like murlocs, or dark dwarves.
And those models in game currently are not the models being used for the expansion race.
