Subject: Nerf Crusader Aura

The way you'd expect the aura to be applied is like this:

Normal Mount = 160% of normal speed, +20% speed = 180% of normal speed

Epic Mount = 200% of normal speed, +20% speed = 220% of normal speed

But it's actually applied like this:

Normal Mount = 160% of normal speed + 20% of 160 = 32 = 192% of normal speed

Epic Mount = 200% of normal speed + 20% of 200 = 40 = 240% of normal speed

Paladins on epic ground mounts riding 40% faster than other any class in battlegrounds is simply an overpowered advantage. For perspective, that's the same as the difference between someone running on foot and a druid in travel form.

I don't even need to mention how it's going to give the epic flying mounts 336% air speed...

I think I'm going to start encouraging a new trend here in the forums. People are too focused on "Nerf" x posts as of late and it really needs to stop.

If you feel you have a valid concern over a gameplay element that is fine, but starting off by saying something needs nerfed is probably not the best way to go about it.

I'm going to lock this thread and see if people can find new, interesting and exciting ways to discuss the issues they feel are important in regard to class balance that don't involve the word 'nerf'.
