| | If you are also having issues with the new GCD, please feel free to post them here along with why they are giving you issues here, and rationally presentend logical reasons of why it needs to be removed. Blizzard will not likely respond to "NEW GCD IS BS!" and finger pointing.
If we can get one big thread together, perhaps they will listen and remove this wretched, unneeded change.

Feedback on changes posted in a constructive manner (like this) are a great way for us to see how it's affecting players. While it's understandable that people have feedback to share on this already, I'd like to ask that people give it a little time too and continue relaying their experiences to us so that we can assess any further changes that we need to consider making. We aren't planning on making any quick changes to things that have been implemented, but we are also watching carefully to see what effect it is having on the game and players overall.
I'd like to urge people that wish to give feedback to please refrain from typing /signed . It doesn't add your own voice to the feedback and only ends up in a thread that is less productive than it could be. Thanks!

| | Please keep your comments in this thread limited to direct feedback concerning the new global cool down system based on your experiences in-game post patch 2.3. Remarks on the skill of other players, or how long this thread is are not needed and will be considered spam.
Thanks! = D

| | Please stop providing faulty advice to not "spam" or "mash" our abilities, the change that has broken instants had the intended purpose of allowing spells with cast times to cast faster in chained succession.
It is a positive change if you are chain-casting some type of spell with a cast bar: frost bolt, flash of light, lightning bolt, etc.
It has absolutely broken melee.
Your anecdotes and advice to "not mash" do not help. You are not superior players because you feel unscathed by the GCD change, you are simply casting different types of spells in circumstances that do not suffer from it.
Edit: Bold tags removed. Please do not bold your entire message.

| | We're still looking into the concerns related in this thread and will follow-up when we have a bit more information. I just wanted to pop in to let everyone know we're still taking a good look at the way this is working currently.

| | We've applied a hotfix that should make it so that it's no longer possible to get the “you can’t use that ability yet” message while coming out of a Global Cool Down. We will be continuing to monitor this change.

| | People are focused too much on the error message vs what this actually does. Rather than the next ability failing and you getting an error message with it, it should now function correctly once the global cooldown is over. I.E. the next spell or ability should cast as expected. The error message was not removed, but it should be much less likely that you will encounter this error now.
We are still keeping close tabs on the reports of errors that players are having currently as well as watching for how this latest change affects it.
