Q u o t e:
?

There are quite a few things. Some I've already mentioned in another post. What I haven't mentioned yet is in the below. Please be aware that these things aren't going to add up to a big overhaul on any particular class. These are just some changes that we think will be beneficial to the game, balance, and the future development of them.

In addition to what I didn't mention, Prayer of Healing, Circle of Healing and Holy Nova (healing effect) will gain additional benefit from damage and healing bonuses.

Circle of Healing is having a change to the base amount of healing though, and will be reduced but it will have the increase in the bonus it receives from bonus healing effects. So if you have more than 1338 healing, you'll see it heal for more. Less than that, you will see a reduction. Please keep in mind that these numbers could change on further testing but this is where we are as of right now for the patch.

Q u o t e:
that... sort of sounds like a normalization

It's a little like that in that there has to be a bit of adjustment so that it doesn't get too over the top, but there is more benefit there than not in this case.

Q u o t e:
Why not 1337?

You know, when I saw these changes, I thought of that myself. Maybe we just didn't want to seem too cliche. ;)

Q u o t e:
A nerf.

Has there been a single patch where shadow HASN'T been nerfed?

Sorry, I don't have any nerf information for you right now. I'll see what I can do though. :)

(That's a joke.. I swear!)

Q u o t e:
I know this is sorta off-topic, but of concern to me. . .

Hey Neth, can you talk to whoever watches the warrior forum and ask them to post stuff for Warriors? I feel my partners-in-crime are feeling . . .left out.

To quote one of them:
Warriors do not get goodie bags.

We, like Charlie Brown, get rocks... to the face, usually.

:( Help the priests' friends out?

Fear not. We're sharing what information we can where we can. Everyone isn't going to get a large list of changes, but everyone does have one or more coming up.

Q u o t e:
Speaking of CoH, what ever happened to the possibility of making it 'smart', ala Chain Heal? Just totally abandoned? It's nice that it'll be healing for a larger amount now, but hitting enough people with it to be efficient is still somewhat of an issue...

By the way, thanks for actually listening to the last year worth of whining from us. ;)

The idea has rolled around a bit, but there isn't anything that I could tell you about whether this will go in or not. If something like this does go in, you can bet we'll be letting everyone know what to expect from it.

Q u o t e:
Can we keep the dispel resistence to PS please? or give us something to counter that elsewhere?

Also, Chastise > FW

Dispel resistance for Pain Suppression is going to stay as it is now. It's not going away.

Q u o t e:
Thanks Neth for not addressing the core Issues of the priest class once again and completly ignoring all us priest that posted what needs to really be fixed.

You guys dont even play priests nor give a crap what we want. You can say you have one all you and you play it frequently, but thats just spin. When the majority of your class has to spec without grabbing 31 or 41 talents that should put a big RED FLAG in front of your face that you shouldnt be hiding from.

This class has fallen behind every other class since TBC and is on life support.

I cant believe I stopped playing my lock for this class.

Please take some time away from the forums to calm down. Accusing someone of being a liar doesn't tend to come off very well.

We're keeping an eye on follow-up questions and we'll do our best to get feedback to the devs as always on further suggestions etc.

I'm unsure of a plan for a healing wand, but I'll bring it up.

Yes, should be healing bonus for healing spells from what I'm aware.

i.e. Healing to healing, damage to damage

Q u o t e:
Neth ,
Does anyone ever take a look at any statistical numbers when researching potential class changes? i.e. If theoretically 90%of priests were not speccing into certain 31 or 41 talents they would use that info to give them some extra focus, Just wondering how much of the info here is actually looked at compared to real data and just what the devs think up as a cool idea.

We keep an eye on the trends and what talents are least used etc etc. We have a lot of that type of data available to us and since it's direct from our own databases is much more accurate than anything outside.

*We also keep an eye on the forums for trends, talk to friends, read what people on other forums are saying, etc. We constantly pull information from many sources just to make sure our own experiences reflect that of others and if it doesn't we try to figure out why.
