Has anyone within the CM community or Developer community ever thought about using Stratics IRC to allow people to ask questions and get the answers they want?
Quite a lot of the MMO's do this and it seems to stem the ever increasing "omg you ignore the suggestion threads but posts on the off topic all the time QQ".
Could this ever be a viable option and if not why not?

This have been suggested before :-)
It is a cool idea for sure, but I honestly do not think that this is something we will get to see in the near future.
We should however never say never, so maybe we will see something like this at some point in the future when the developers have more time on their hands :-)
