Subject: [BUG] Mac Ingame Video Recorder Problem.

Hello, I am running a 12in iMac 1.9 GHz PowerPC G5, And whenever I record ingame... The gameplay is fine, runs as normal, But then I see the vid, and it's all pixelated and such.. Making it impossible to read the text or see anything that's going on.
I'm normally at 640x300 Resolution and 40 FPS, Should I be doing something different?

The PowerPC Macs are a bit constrained on their frame capture rate due to some limitations of theversion of OpenGL currently available on OS X 10.4 for PowerPC. The Intel flavor of OS X has a more streamlined interface for reading back pixels.

We expect this situation to improve on PowerPC systems when Leopard (OS X 10.5) is released.

Note that whatever frame rate you choose to capture at, the game is going to get capped to that rate (or less, if you are running into other constraints in the system).

So, this is something that we will continue to improve, but 10.5 will make the most difference for PowerPC systems. It is supposed to ship in October or so.
