Subject: Drake only for new characters?

Is the pet you get from pre-ordering the Collector's Edition of the Burning Crusades only avaiable for newly created character?
Or can they be attached to existing characters?

It's better to be pissed off than to be pissed on...

Latest word that we have received is that the CE pet will be pushed to existing characters. All existing characters should have access to the CE pet.
