So I've been leveling a priest on a PvP server and in my 51 levels I have come across quite a few players who enjoy ganking and camping me. Now this isn't meant to be a QQ thread. I knew what I was getting into when I decided to re-roll on a PvP server and I expected to receive my fair share of gankins while leveling to 70. What I want to know is WHY do people do it? Is it really that fun 1 shotting someone over and over again? Is it really fun to destroy someone who has no chance of putting up any kind of fight?

Some people do it because it gives them a cheap thrill and makes them feel powerful. Others do it in the hope that you will bring back people to stand against them and give them a fight. Some may be getting revenge for something some other player did to them when they were leveling.
So, it can be fun and it can be frustrating both, depending on how you want to look at it. Revenge can sometimes be a part of the fun even after the frustration has been dealt with of escaping someone bent on causing you grief.
Words mean more than what is set down on paper. It takes the human voice to infuse them with shades of deeper meaning.
