| | The invention of daily quests for gold was a nice thing to have. As a raider, I go through a lot of consumables weekly, and having dailies around meant less time spent farming them up or farming gold to purchase them. I imagine gold buying went down and more people were able to buy their epic mounts.
Now however with most of Quel'danas unlocked, it seems that the pendulum swing has passed up the happy middle ground and gone on to the other extreme. With the ability to make extremely large amounts of gold by doing many dailies on one or multiple characters, people have accrued very large sums of gold, making them willing to pay more for goods and services.
This has lead to inflation. Terocone and netherbloom for haste potions have more than doubled in AH price, even accounting for market fluctuation. Relentless assault flasks have jumped up 20g in price. Enchanting materials are more expensive. The Shattered Sun title is a minor gold sink which doesn't really make up for this. The result of inflation means that to purchase consumable and enchanting materials for raids, I now have to spend more time farming gold, just as I had before the advent of dailies, only this time the time invested is in dailies rather than older methods of farming leather, etc.
I understand that the expansion is coming out and they want people to have money, but in the future I think dailies will need a bit more consideration before unleashing the sluices of gold upon the world. Personally, I would have made epic gems purchasable for gold, say 250 - 500g per gem, rather than badges. This would be an effective gold sink as the gems are often replaced and there is a constant need for them, rather than a one-time title.
I am not dirt poor, and this is not a major qq post, but it is something I think Blizz should look at for the future.

| | It's definitely a concern and something we're watching as we move into the next expansion. Regardless there's going to be some inflation, but we obviously don't want it to get out of hand. Creating new and meaningful places to spend money is going to be important to a stable economy.
Personally, the warrior I'm leveling has 1,300g right now at level 50 which I attribute most of to inflation (mining/herb). Kind of nutty, and kind of an important issue to keep an eye one. We're not ignorant to the goings on here in the "post-game" economy.

HAX.
It feels like it. I did farm the Love is in the Air event but that really only accounts for about 300g of my total right now.
