It's definitely a bit more than just a "patch".

7 new zones in Outland (a 25% land mass increase).
2 new starting zones for the Blood Elves and Draenei.
2 new races.
10 new levels (60-70)
Hundreds of new quests and items.
Arena system with ladder competition.
1 new profession
Flying Mounts
Socketed items
New dungeons that include Heroic Mode.
And lots more.

This is a super-sized expansion. Do you have enough of an appetite for it?

Q u o t e:

Blizzard proves yet again that their message boards are no more than a marketing tool.

Because I posted all the things that will be in the expansion rather than let the impression that it was just a patch persist? Those that have been in the beta know how much there is. Others have only gotten a small taste of it via through posts, screenshots and accounts by beta testers.

I have been in the beta when new players have joined in and listened to the remarks of people when they came through the Dark Portal. It definitely had its impact. I'm just trying to prepare people for it. :)

Ok I've played expansion to 70 and I only know of 7 Outland zones:
Hellfire Peninsula
Zangermarsh
Nagrand
Terrokar Forest
Shadowmoon Valley
Blade's Edge Mountains
Netherstorm

So i'm assuming thats just a error which is understandable being only one key different.

Still an absolute ton of stuff

You are correct. 7 in Outland . Plus there is also the new starting zone for the Blood Elves and the Draenei so we could say that there are 9 total new zones.

Sorry to do it too you again, but isince it adds to your point here goes, there are 11 new zones

7 in outland

Each new race gets 2 new areas as in addition to starter (1-10) areas you you also have 10-20 areas....Ghostlands for BE and Draeni have Bloodmyst or whatever there 2nd island is.

I lumped the starting areas together but they are 2 zones for each area. Again, you are correct. ;) The amount of content keeps piling up doesn't it?
