I've had enough of having to go up against tier 2.5 groups in AB/WSG and getting completely wiped without any honor. So, I'm hereby boycotting AB and WSG and encouraging everybody I meet to do the same.
FIX IT BLIZZARD.

From the Battle Plan Vol 4 (it's still a sticky here in General, check it out):
"we're also hard at work on our team-balancing feature for the battlegrounds. This feature won't be ready for this next content patch, but will be added in a patch sometime after the expansion launches. Team balancing will help ensure that the teams facing each other in each of the game’s battlegrounds will be as evenly matched as possible. "
So, we are "fixing it", but it won't be implemented until after the release of the expansion.

I don't understand why the AV group feature was removed while the WSG & AB features remain in tact. This problem is happening now! And it is not a complicated issue at all. This response really disappoints me.
The premade groups being more organized than unorganized groups has been a "problem" for quite a while, but with the new honor system and everyone clamoring for honor it's become a much more pertinent issue. We can recognize that, and understand your motives for wanting it fixed now rather than later, but we're not currently planning to change the way battleground grouping or matching works until the matching system is implemented in a patch sometime after the release of the expansion.
We have production schedules and we work on projects within our given resources. It was a feature we had originally planned to release along with the expansion, unfortunately as we don't have unlimited resources development has to be prioritized on specific features or changes. There were simply bigger fish to fry, so to speak.
Removing the ability to group in the two battlegrounds is an option, but it removes the ability for friends (or even, yes, guilds) to play together easily, and it really doesn't do a whole lot to stop the large organized teams from getting most or all of their group into the same instance if they really want to.

greens with their tier 2+ gear in their bags. There is nothing that could stop this except possibly making it impossible to switch gear in the
BG's...and that's just stupid. The only thing that makes sense is to match equal sized groups, and fill in the blanks with everyone else.
We could check bags, bank, mail, etc. all of which I believe are planned. Keep in mind that it's still not going to be a bulletproof system. As the search goes on it's going to broaden its search and just attempt to make a game within a reasonable amount of time so you're not in a queue forever waiting for a perfect match, and because of that there's still going to be some amount of gear or group disparity in matches.
