The new Arena system is indeed in the 2.0.1 patch and will be available when it is released; however we will not be testing the Arena system or Battlegrounds on the PTRs. You will have the ability to queue for an arena or battleground on the PTRs, but doing so may cause your character to become stuck at a loading screen. If this occurs exit the game (alt-f4 or close the game process manually) and wait 15 minutes before logging back in. You should be back to where you were before attempting to enter the arena or battleground.
We apologize to those of you who were anticipating testing the new arena system in this patch but hope that you will enjoy it once the patch is released on the live realms.

what about the other 3 BG's? those are locking up as well.

Update
Battlegrounds are now available on the public test realm.
