ive been hearing rumors of reputation being reset to neutral when TBC comes out. is this true? that would piss alot of people off...
if this is true wouldnt it make more sense to reset factions to the beginning of a level? for example if youre half way into revered just make you start revered over?

Can't? That's because they don't exist. And that's because we aren't resetting reputation.
This rumor has been going on long enough, so I'll just have to put it in all caps.
REPUTATION WILL NOT BE RESET IN THE EXPANSION.
This rumor has been perpetuated by people who are not fully understanding the interaction and change that will occur between Battlegrounds reputation and the new honor system. While it is true that BG reputations will not be involved with honor rewards the way they were previously, they are not being reset. No reputation is being reset.

ok so rep with new cities wont matter, but basicly that means ill never be able to get that mechano strider from gnomer rep because now that im a little over half way through revered with them i have to start all over again. rep for new cities, fine whatever. but the rest of the game still exists and id like to play that too.
Mechanostriders are much easier to get now than they were one patch ago.
Again, it is now easier to get a cross-faction mount.
