So it used to be 2000, now they are saying it's 4000 on the test realms...
Is this how it's going to be in when the patch is implemented? Please say yes!
Is there any official confirmation that this is a permenant change?

It's off by a factor of 10. Battleground Daily quest bonus honor is supposed to be equivalent to 20 player kills at your level, ie 400 honor at level 70.

It's more or less a free battleground worth of honor, and that's what we've intended it to be. A bonus for hopping in that day's battleground.
There's a lot of concern that AV isn't providing as much honor as it is on live due to the changes on the PTR. Some changes have already gone in but we're still keeping track of and willing to make additional changes. We want the time/honor ratio of AV to be as close to what it is now as possible, and if it looks like that's not the case even after bumping the honor and decreasing the amount of resources then we'll make additional changes.

Technically we increased it from 200 to 400, the fact that it's been mistakenly shown as higher by a factor of 10 doesn't mean it's being decreased. I guess illogically it's a nerf, but yeah, we're happy at current with it being worth 400.

Seeing 60+ AV matches this weekend at one point, I think it's going ok.
If you don't want the bonus honor and money then you don't have to do it. Aside from the bonus though it really helps to get people playing different BGs. There may be days where you want to get some EotS marks for a specific item, but it's AB weekend and no one is doing EotS, well it happens to be EotS daily day and hey, there you go, a lot more games for you.
