Subject: Postional Audio in Voice Client?

I know, I know I should download to the test client to find out

buuut

Does the voice client support positional audio IE when someone is behind you in game their voice comes from behind you in a surround sound environment. I know from doing 3d animation its relatively simple to assign a sound node to an object, so i was hoping blizz did the same here.

If not it would be a cool use, i'd love to here the variable scream of a punted tank as they fly past.

The game still has 3D sound capability for game sounds and effects. However 2.2.0 does not apply any positional cues to voice chat traffic. It's an interesting idea and I am sure it is under consideration for a possible enhancement down the road.

I didn't say it was a bad idea, just that it won't be in 2.2.0 :)
