hey all, i was just wondering, are private servers legal? My friend and I were discussing making one, but were unsure if it was illegal or not. Ive actually seen a whole lot of servers being hosted which you can join, and when i mean a lot, i mean A LOT =P. I went on a few forums, some say its legal (if you don't use it for profit) and some say its not legal. Was just wondering if somebody here could help me out in telling me? Thanks a lot for your time =D Btw our intentions are to use it for experinmenting with classes at higher levels, so we can decide on alts to roll on the real servers.
