| The leveling rate was just right before, you could finish all the quests in an area, and then move on to the next one, and be right on target level. It was perfect, you could just quest and didn't have to resort to grinding.
Now with the massive addition of hundreds of thousands of exp needed per level, we'll be needing to grind.
I had hoped that you had learned from your previous mistakes, and lessened the grind somewhat, but I was wrong I guess.
I am pretty disappointed in Blizzard for making this change, the only thing it can lead to is more frustration for the player, it is totally unneeded.

| We are in the process of tuning the leveling curve for the expansion. The Beta is the absolute best time for us to tune this curve. We made changes this week and we're watching things closely. Don't be surprised to see more changes over the course of the Beta. Those who participated in the original WoW Beta will remember the curve changing many times before release.
The most recent changes included:
--Lengthening the curve a bit
--Placing more emphasis on Quest Reward Experience
--Placing more emphasis on Dungeon Experience
--Placing less emphasis on grinding outdoor creatures while not on a quest (sorry to Cartman and the South Park kids killing their 1,232,232 fel boars)
Something that's *very* important to note:
Three entire zones are not open in the Beta -- Blade's Edge Mountains, Netherstorm and Shadowmoon Valley. These will be full of quests. The lack of these zones is undoubtedly going to skew feedback until we open them.
Ultimate Goal:
An experience curve that does not require "grinding" outdoor mobs. So long as you are always questing through your leveling experience, we've achieved our goal. If you ever need to "stop" and kill creatures to open up quests, then we have more tuning to do. We will not require people to go into the Dungeons. HOWEVER, dungeon exp will be very rewarding for those who choose to attempt the added challenge.

| Also, Terokkar Forest is undergoing a Quest Review and the Bone Wastes is getting redone. We'll be adding a host of new quests to the Bone Wastes as well.

Q u o t e: Yea, can we at least get more quests then? I just hit 66 and I've done about every non-dungeon quest available so far. If I want to hit 67 I'm gonna have to kill 1600+ mobs :(
Yes. Like I said, three entire zones are missing. In addition to that, Terokkar and Bone Wastes are being re-visited.

Q u o t e: Tigole, I understand there are 3 zones unopen, but I completely ran out of soloable quests about 40% through level 66 before the levelling curve was made steeper. Will Blades Edge, or perhaps one of the other zones be around this level?
If not, (and maybe even if so), I think Nagrand could do with some more quests since it's pretty much the 65-67 zone. Maybe add some more at the Consortium camp or expand the area around the goblin jumping pad with more quest-giving goblins?
Blade's Edge and the revamp to Terokkar/Bone Wastes should have you covered. If not, we'll do additional tuning.
