Every one knows most large guilds have an alt that stores all the guild loot. These mules get all the rare regents and disenchanting mats and are very full. Problem is that only one player can use them(though people normally share the account for this reason.)
So we have a built in need to have a place for a guild to store items and yet have a way for the guild to see the items available and for officers to be able to distribute the items.(seems who ever has the mule is never on....) Is there anything being planned to remedy this? A guild bank feature would be amazing.
I would like to see it simply work as a tab when you visit a bank, by default you see your stuff. But a tab allows you to see the guild bank.
Members could then view items available in the bank, they could mouse over items to see the details. Members would be unable to take items from the bank however. As only officers can do so. Officers would see the same thing except could take the items out to hand to players. Would be set much like permissions to officer chat are set.
Any member can put items into the bank however, and additional bag slots would be available but continue increasing in price(so you could get 10 extra bags but the last bag would be very very expensive) Setting up a guild bank would also cost 100g so people can't just make there own guild bank for more storage.
I think such a UI improvement would be very very welcome. Thoughts?

We already have a design for guild banks and were going to get it into the Burning Crusade, but it is now scheduled to be added in a future content patch after the expansion ships.
