Subject: What do warriors have to do to be heard?
Ok, we've been patient (well at least most of us) for a very long time. We really got an uninspired review, especially in comparison to every other class so far. We let it slide. We've had several nerfs, some of them needed, others a bit more questionable. We let it slide. We've sat around for about a year now waiting to have something good happen to our class. We hear next to nothing.

However, about two months ago, Tseric finally came back to the forums here talking about "My bad, I left you guys for a long time" and "We know you guys still have problems." We rejoiced. "HEY BLIZZARD ACTUALLY KNOWS WE STILL HAVE PROBLEMS!" We accepted that we wouldn't get our review until after everyone else, because we were told it wasn't possible, one class at a time, etc. etc.

Well, the next day Eyonix told the paladins they'll still be getting worked on in the next few patches alongside other reviews... Ok... Now they are doing two full reviews simultaneously in the same patch... Ok... Both of those are completely contridictory to what we were told.

On top of all this, we've been asking for tactical mastery (a talent that forces warriors to spec at least 7-10 in arms, basically nullifying a chance at a viable fury/prot build and a talent that every warrior worth a damn has) to be a class ability for all. We're told that "It's just like the mage arcane tree, some believe those talents are necessary, but we think it blah blah tough talent choices blah blah." Well, THAT'S being changed, can we please get something along the lines of this.

People have been asking for a long time, you don't even have to get rid of the talent in arms, just make it so that all warriors retain 10-15 rage switching stances and a talent that improves it to 25-30, whatever, I don't care.

I'm just tired of warriors being told one thing by Blizzard, and then read in other class forums something completely contradictory to what we were just told. Either stick to your word, or listen to us and adjust your dealings with us accordingly.
No more elves please...

Seeing as the shaman review has moved into patch 1.11, this merely increases the possibility of bringing some more focused attention on the warrior talents. If all we are left with is Rogues in 1.12, with the strong likelyhood of a 1.13 patch, we are looking at some space for the class designers to work with.

With regards to TM, no one has forgotten about the community's desire. The idea still stands that they would like to look at more, different rage management techniques or talents, rather than making TM a trained ability. Of course, that may change, as it did with other talent/abilities. It's still on the table, your concerns and theirs.

As it stands, the devs are looking into rage generation changes in the present. I am not sure of the exact nature of the changes, but it was a task I saw assigned. If I had to guess, I would say that changes of this nature might show up in 1.12. So, versatility of rage generation might preclude the necessity of TM.

So, some stuff is on the table now and the window grows wider for future changes. That's about the long and short of it ;)

OMG Tseric totally made me look like an ass.

Why does Blue have the uncanny ability to do that to me in this forum? (pls don't give me the witty and obvious retort to that Tseric :p)

Thank you for your post.

Odd and unintentional ownage, but amusing nevertheless :D

Q u o t e:
Does anyone have a link to the rather lengthy thread someone made asking for normalized rage generation? I have tried many searches and coming up with nothing. I do believe a blue posted in that thread.

Yeah, and I was making points against normalized rage generation in it...

Please take a moment to look back on this thread and watch the panic of normalization start as a little matchstick fire and grow into a firestorm of fear. Then grab a cool drink and relax.

EDIT- looking for the post in Blue Tracker. I can't remember which month it was posted :(
