Any word on Protection changes, PvE or PvP-wise?

Last time we talked about it I had to regretfully inform the warrior community that, while certain issues such as the protection tree were noted by the devs as wanting some improvement, the time available for such changes was limited. What we are looking at is hopefully being able to spend some time and focus after the current round of talent reviews is over, but before expansion releases; time permitting.
Then, of course, when the expansion comes out, there are going to be a slew of new abilities which will alter the look and balance of things.
The awareness of and desire to make adjustments to some issues is not a problem. The time to make them is somewhat constrained.
