Honestly, I've always perceived Orc males as the epitome of what is savage and brutish about Warcraft. Not that they aren't civilized or intelligent, mind, but they're huge, brawny, and robust in ways none of the races save the Tauren could even hope to hold a candle to.
That said, have you ever run past an Orc female in full plate and a helm and whirled in panic, wondering why there was a Human standing around in Orgrimmar?

To be perfectly honest, I don't need to talk to a developer to tell you that I like the shape of that Orc's biceps.
It really is that simple. "Official" information has to be asked for, waited on, collected, turned from notes into official statements, officialized, etc., before it can be posted.
Additionally, "fostering community" is in all of our job descriptions, and I'd say this kind of post does that pretty well.
