Subject: When to use the infernal
I got my infernal pet last night, which was great. But now when it is useful? I have dropped him in the AH for fun, also used him in a pinch once for the two second cast when I got jumpned, but other then that the negatives seem to outweigh the positives.

PvP? (Drop it in the middle of horde?)
PvP - melee pet against someone

Other time though?

Q u o t e:
Ok, where do you get the component to summon the infernal?

Reagent vendors around the world should offer infernal shards.

Man you know with all these hot topics and semi good threads this has to be the best post for a blue to respond to :P

Actually, yes it is. Legitimate uses and situations in which players are using the Infernal should be highlighted. I have responded many a time to the "these pets are useless" threads; I would like to bump the folks opinions who actually take advantage of things, no matter how small or insignificant that advantage may seem to the community at large.

That was more than a typo or spelling error.

He has admitted in previous posts he had never summoned either an Infernal nor Doomguard and his posting in this thread proved he didn't even know what the reagent was called.

Beyond that, it's not to his company's advantage for him to even hint at improvements that have not been officially announced.

Now you are the one distributing "incorrect" information. I had stated that I had never summoned a Doomguard. I'm not sure where you decided that should mean both impermanent pets. Perhaps you were taking someone else's comments as fact?

Tell me, honestly: If a newer player to the game saw my post about the Infernal SHARD and then went to an in game vendor to see an Infernal STONE, do you really think they would be that confused and upset?

The fact that such a minor detail, which was easily rectified by others here in this thread, causes you such distress is the real inhibiting factor in communication here.

Bah no need to cry over a typo. But:

Even after doing the long quest for Ritual of Doom, me neither. Isn't there a problem there?

Not saying there isn't. I could repost something from when I last addressed this matter if you like.
