Subject: Eyonix- Some questions for you
   Eyonix ,

Please tell us the procedure for which you present our concerns to the developers .

Do you write our concerns down in list form ?

Do you jot down a few quick notes .. to hit the highlights ?

Upon meeting with the developers , do you just take their response as gospel or do you try and present a different view to them ( our view ) ?

Of our entire list of bugs/complaints/gripes why did the soul shard problem and the pet pathing get ignored ?
.... Yes , shards were ignored . I dont care about shards in Battlegrounds .. I care about shards now .

Is it to much to ask of you to read some of the more detailed posts here , by people who spend a very considerable amount of time writing them , and make a substantial list to take to the developers ?

Is it even more to ask .. that you come back here and give us a response like the ones the warriors got ... where just about every concern they had was acknowledged , addressed , answered or rebutted ?

I dont think that the Warlock community deserves any less than these questions answered and a response that consists of details and reasons .

Im going to keep this bumped until we get a response from you Eyonix .

Thank you in advance for the time you will take to provide us with the information we would like .
I want to keep playing my Warlock , I really do ..

I write up both an itemized list and detailed report, both of which are based purely upon the information gathered in this forum. When I'm confident that nothing has been missed, they are sent to the lead developers who pass it around to key personnel, as different subjects concern different members of their team. Once the leads have the information necessary to provide me with the requested feedback, we schedule a live meeting.

During this meeting, I relay the feedback that had been gathered, and to answer your question, yes, I definitely do what I can to push for what you guys feel is in your best interest. An example of me "pushing" one of your concerns can be seen in the patch notes concerning the upcoming change being made to Enslave Demon, which will prevent it from being dispelled.

The "Soul Shard" issue has not been ignored, and as stated in one of my updates, this is something we're working on. The fact is, some changes take time and it's very important that players remain patient in the case that a patch releases and the change that they had hoped for didn't make it in, as that is no indication that we're not planning a change in a future patch, which most certainly is the case with Soul Shards.

Also, please realize that I have responded to threads in this forum on a number of occasions beyond what you see in my sticky threads, however in the past my responses created unrest, and resulted in very hostile messaging, at which point it was more damaging to reply than remain silent. Keep in mind, I'm a facilitator of information and it's inappropriate to allow myself to be drawn into an argument, or forced into a situation where I play the role of someone defending himself. I'm on your side, and do my best to relay your thoughts to those creating this game.

While it is true that currently, my main character is a Mage, players should be aware that I've been playing this game since the initial company alpha and have played each extensively. In fact, the Warlock was one of the earliest classes I remember playing, and most certainly the first character I had built up for a character wipe, which back then was done much more frequently.

Q u o t e:
what was a the reason for that?(would be a good question to ask) If i remembered correctly when paladins got nerfed they were at least told that there was a bug in their ability.

Fear in its current state is slightly too powerful for the mana cost. Skilled warlocks have been using fear kiting methods to defeat elite mobs much too quickly, consistently, and with too little downtime. I would also like to clarify that the percentage cost increase is applied to base (naked) mana, not total. In other words, the cost does not increase when you equip +int gear.
