was thinking about why it was such a big deal, i mean its some dumb kid on a video game forum, big deal, but then i thought of this...
everyday that Eyonix is waliking down the street and someone form blizz seems him they probally shout out, "hey Eyonix whatch out for that bus"
honesty its probally geting real old for him, probally gets little yellow match box buses on his desk in the morning and crap like that
so stop with the Eyonix is a little girl post, as its not the person he is angry with but instead all the crap he gets from coworkers
I win!

Q u o t e: Remember when you first tried to make a post it asked for confirmation that you're over the age of 13? This is the reason for that.
It wasn't some troll saying DIAF in a sarcastic tone, which in itself justifies ban from the forums. The person added "from the bottom of my heart". There's no excuse to be angry or irrational on the forums; you have the option of posting at any time of the day.
There was a swarm of people on the forums at that time saying all manner of childish and irrational bs towards Eyonix because the developers are designing the shaman talents in a way you don't like. His post was to illustrate how ridiculous it was getting. Getting significantly upset over the review not being quite as you wanted is sad. Posting angrily on the forums is pointless and actionable.
If you hate how Eyonix has acted during the review, go ahead and email Blizzard about it. Some one will actually read it. But posting here saying "EMONIX IS STUPIDZ" will not accomplish anything. I've no doubt that the developers who actually know what Eyonix has done have no complaints about him. Finally, stop using that bs "we've been so constructive and patient so far, we're justified". So things go bad suddenly so you lose faith in Blizzard? Story of Job, anyone? Most of the people using that excuse were just spectaters during the period of collecting feedback anyway.
Grow up and move on.
Thanks Darlor, I couldn't agree with your points more. Firstly, the "bus thing" doesn't bother me, and as a matter of fact, I've been saving most of the pictures and comments I've seen because I find it well beyond humorous how my example post of a threat has evolved. It makes me think, "those silly bunch of guys" every time some new bus comment or picture crops up -- so long as there is at least an iota of creativity, which sadly is not often the case. Recycled humor ftw?
The thread comparing me to Shaman abilities was priceless. If you think I don't have a sense of humor, think about what I do for a living, and then think again.
In any case, those I work for and with are pleased with both my current and past efforts as a Community Manager. And as I've stated numerous times, feel free to express your feedback to wowcmfeedback@blizzard.com.

As I've stated on numerous occasions, I'll provide information as it becomes available -- this holds true concerning any aspect of the game. With the change to our production schedule for patch 1.12, I don't believe that any Shaman changes are going to make it in for the next patch.

Q u o t e: Eyo, if you're still reading this, can you answer a bored office monkey and give us any sort of update on what's happening dev-wise in Shamanland?
There's a lot of us on here who would appreciate any sort of bone you can throw us. We know you still read here, even if you aren't posting.
Just a bit of feedback and insight following a constructive post would do a lot toward improving troop morale around here.
Thanks for your time.
Right now the class team is heavily focused on the expansion. We will be announcing details of what's in store for each class in the weeks to come. There are a number of improvements we're considering for Shamans in expansion, such as improved totem UI and functionality. I've also been studying the development of new talents and abilities for each class, and so far I'm fairly excited at what I've seen for the Shaman. Despite the belief that no one reads the Shaman boards (ironically, our loudest forum), we're fully aware of the feedback that's been expressed here, and will do what we can to address it. Much of the improvement players are demanding will have to wait until the Burning Crusade launches, which isn't too far off.
