Subject: Lack of CM effect on review
A thread on General says that a lack of pally CM hurt them when they got their review a couple patches ago. This is in contrast with druids and now priests which have CMs actually playing those classes.

Doesn't look as though shaman have a CM playing the class and there is certainly very little response by blues on shaman board.

I wonder if when shaman review rolls around, its gonna stink because of the lack of attention.

I plan to work with the Shaman during the upcoming review. Things may changes, but that is the current plan. I actually do have a level 60 Shaman, and have been playing him more than my priest lately. Although I don't believe that's completely necessary for purposes of gathering and relaying feedback. Regardless, I suppose that there is really no need to argue that point seeing that my Shaman is in-fact at level cap.

I do also regularly read the Shaman boards (often times as a normal player), and have posted feedback in the past. My posting activity will increase as information impacting your class begins to surface. Ideally, players work with me, speaking to me and not at me and I'll be free to jump in threads more frequently.

Q u o t e:
This is wonderful news Eyonix... but may you also answer this. Are the gripes we have (ignoring the pally poster above that does not understand our seriously weak role in end game raids) understood?

And more importantly has the fantastic list about shammy problems that NERT developed been read by others such as yourself?

To me... the priest review (while fantastic) has really driven home the weak role of shamans in end game content. We are now seriously weak healers compared to them (come on our resto tree sucks after NS) and I am now coming to a mind that more priests in a raid can add more than a few shaman totems.

Potentially our entire totem system needs to be reviewed as does our role/existence in PvE.

The review will definitely take a very close look at the Shaman in group and raid PvE environments. Overall healing effectiveness and totem utility will receive an extensive pass, and players can expect improvements to all three trees.
