We were going to hold off on addressing Rogues until the Hunter issues have been settled, but since there's been a great deal more demand for it, there should be no harm in starting the process of collecting player feedback on Rogues. (I hope)
To start, the three most popular concerns seem to be:
1. Vanish not properly functioning in certain situations (though it does work very well a majority of the time)
2. Combo points not always being registered. (I believe this has been fixed on the test realms)
3. Lack of usefulness in high end raids such as Onyxia and Molten Core.
4. Poisons disappearing after entering/exiting instances.
And as always well-thought out and reasonably presented arguments are most welcome. :)[ post edited by Tyren ]

6. Eviscerate consuming 35 energy on a miss rather than using up less like other abilities.

[update]
Players, this isn't a discussion to add functionality or more power to rogues. It is a discussion to see what is not working as intended, and to correct it.
[update2]
The usefulness of daggers/backstab builds is being increased in the upcoming patch, so dagger discussions will not be considered here for the time being.[ post edited by Tyren ]

Q u o t e: My main problem is stackability of rogue only items. Poisons + Flash Powder + Thistle Tea should be stackable in amounts larger than 10. At the moment I am fully stocked on rogue items, and they take up 18 bag units.
Another minor issue which isn't exactly important, but still annoying, would be that if you Sinister Strike when you proc Trash on your Thrash Blade (Not sure about other proc type effects) it will nullify your extra attack.
From what I understand, procs like the Thrash Blade do not trigger on special attacks such as Sinister Strike.

Q u o t e: your misrepresenting most of the claims i have heard.
" Vanish not properly functioning in certain situations (though it does work very well a majority of the time)"
the problem i have, and the one i seem to see most other rogues complaining about is that vanish doesnt work AT ALL in ANY of the situations where one would actually want to use it.
technically, your statement is true because the majority of the time you dont have use for it. the majority of the time you are walking from one place to another or standing in town, during such situations vanish normally works fine for me. vanish has no purpose the majority of the time. its when we need it, that is, when we are losing a fight and have A LOT of stuff coming in at us (spells, swings, projectiles) that it doesnt work. at all.
Please consider that if what you say was true, rogues would be in the streets flipping over cars and burning store fronts. There are a lot of abilities that break Vanish, that is intended. However, it is those cases where something that shouldn't break Vanish is breaking Vanish, that we must look into and address.
