I'm not aware of a hotfix resolving the issue with Seal Fate, I don't believe it would even be possible.
I'm working on gathering more substantial information on many issues, I hope that I will be able to share it tomorrow or Monday.
I want to add that Seal Fate is definitely an issue we are taking seriously, and we hope that we can resolve it as soon as possible. It will have to wait for a normal patch release like any other client-dependent issue. Unfortunately this is not an issue that can be hotfixed.
I know that I am going to catch heat, but I'm just laying it out and letting you know how this issue will be resolved, and that is through a normal patching process.[ post edited by Drysc ]

I don't take it as a flame, but making assumptions as to how far away the next patch will be are probably not the best outlook to have. I don't mean to suggest that you 'turn that frown upside-down' and have a completely positive disposition, only that the current negative cause this has on your character does not spread entirely to the rest of your thought process.
I only mean to say... 'Upcoming patch' should not elicit fanciful images of a future world, flying cars intact, when cave drawings are found hinting towards an imminent patch that will soon be released.
I'll get flamed for saying that too, it seems to be my lot in life.
