Subject: Class Review Discussion with Tom Chilton
I thought this part of Tom Chilton's interview was pretty interesting:

"Well, right now we're in the process of working on the talent review for the mage. Some of the aspects we're looking to improve include easing a mage's downtime between fights a bit and making a Fire/Frost build a more viable combination than it is right now. (Currently most magi feel that having anywhere between 11 to 21 points in the Arcane is a "must")."

Most rogues feel that having a minimum of 15-17 points in the assassination tree is a "must". When our time comes for a talent review, I hope the Blizzard team shows us the same consideration. If 1.13 rolls around and every rogue build still has the near-mandatory 17-31/x/y formula, I guess we'll know who it was that dropped the ball.

I'm looking forward to the rogue review, as I'm sure many of you are. It is definitely a concern that the rogue class has been surpassed in some aspects as other classes receive their reviews. The review will mainly be centered on talent improvements, making some talents more appealing and general improvements without removing or disrupting current and viable builds if at all possible.

I don't have any specific changes to share just yet, but as we draw closer to the review I'll be letting you know what kinds of changes we're looking at as soon as I am able.
