Subject: BUG: Beastial Wrath and Death Coil

Q u o t e:
1. We've listened to the feedback that Death Coil's mana cost is now a little high, so we'll be toning that down somewhat (565 mana for rank 3 as of the next test server build). In addition, the tooltip is being updated to clarify that the fear effect cannot be countered.

Emphasis mine.

However, Beastial Wrath's tooltip specifically states that the pet "does not feel pity or remorse or fear and it can not be stopped unless killed." In other words; unstoppable excluding death.

Q u o t e:
unstoppable

adj : not capable of being stopped; "as unstoppable as the wind" [ant: stoppable]

Why is it then that on test, Death Coil's fear effect affects an enraged Hunter pet? Why does "unstoppable" take on some new, Blizzard-dictionary meaning in this case? If you don't intend to fix this contradiction, why not update our tooltip and come forward with this nerf to Beastial Wrath.

You may also want to look at other abilities which also stop the "unstoppable" enraged pet as you missed a few. For example, the item that allows you to put beasts to sleep affects an enraged Hunter pet.

Pets under the effect of Bestial Wrath should be immune to the fear effect from Death Coil. This has been added to the Currently Researching sticky.
