Subject: Moonkin is a terrible 31 pt talent
Yes, I understand that druids use all their forms.

I also understand that druid duels are less than exciting and are not true measures of talent's worthiness.

My question is - why in the hell would I want to spend 600 mana to go into a form that prevents me from using potions/bandages/HEALING SPELLS for a measly 3% crit chance?

I don't care how much armor you have - no caster likes to have someone up in their grill delaying their spell casts and interrupting their spell casts. That armor is practically worthless. How many balance druids want more armor? Balance druids keep a distance for a reason.

So you go into Moonkin form to get 3 more crit spells out of 100 casts? And when you have to heal, you have to change forms and then spend another 600 mana to go back to your Moonkin? That makes a Regrowth cost over 1400 mana! And Moonkins USE MANA to deal damage - not like the other forms.

I just don't see how Moonkin is worth it.

Quick note: we'll have a few more tweaks for the Moonkin form before it goes live (ie: lowered mana cost for the shapeshift and being able to eat/drink/trinket/etc).

Among the "tweaks" Kalgan mentions, I'm told weapon proccing is indeed in the cards. :)
I sport a Tauren-sized browncoat...
