Subject: Blizzard gives hunters the shaft (again)
"Hunter pets cannot learn more than four activated abilities.
This is intended and part of the new pet functionality for the upcoming patch. "

Either you're lying to us now, or you lied to Caydiem when she posted that this was a bug and would be fixed before the patch goes live.

Would someone please care to explain why Blizzard feels it's okay to lie to it's customers _repeatedly_?

Hey I got a great idea, how about you explain how this could POSSIBLY be 'intended', when you made adjustments to the code SPECIFICALLY to allow folks to make use of more than 4 pet skills.

I'm absolutely tired of this.. I am a good customer. I am loyal, and I want nothing more than to trumpet what a great job Blizzard is doing, but every single time things start to look up, we get LIED to again. It's not even that you're doing bad things, it's that you're CONSTANTLY LYING to your customers!

Something needs to change in your office. Someone needs to seriously lay down some smack with regards to communication, because this is a completely unacceptable way to treat paying customers.

Hunters that currently have pets with more than four activated abilities will be able to keep those pets the way they are in the upcoming patch. Without the ability to auto-cast from the spellbook, these pets would have the same bugs associated with them as they do now. For those of you that aren't aware, turning off auto-cast in the current retail version and removing the ability from the petbar will only prevent it from auto-casting until you logout or zone. The most obvious side effect was that pets would be casting Growl and Cower at the same time which obviously affects their ability to hold agro. This is one of the primary reasons that the ability to auto-cast from the spellbook was added even though new pets are limited to 4 activated abilities.

Also, please remember that the Currently Researching Issues sticky is a list of player reported issues directly drawn from this forum. These issues, I must reiterate, are not yet confirmed as bugs.
