Subject: Please help -- cannot successfully patch
(Already posted in a sticky thread up there, but no blue response on that thread, so posting here. Hopefully I'm not the only one with this issue?)

I am unable to patch to the test version.

(1) I deleted the WoWTest folder. (From an earlier attempt just like this -- I have not been on the test server in the past.)

(2) I have run the Blizzard Repair tool; it fixed one corrupt file (Creature\TempScarletCrusaderLight\ScarletCrusaderLight.m2) (I did this because the first attempt failed, saying the same error as below -- so I thought it a problem with my WoW install.)

(3) I repatched to 1.6.1. (Repairing reverts you to 1.0 retail.)

(4) I grabbed the Test patch using the V2 downloader.

(5) I ran that patch, and when it got to line 5617/21666 (World\Maps\Blac..kwingLair_34_44.adt) it tanked with this error: This application has encountered a critical error: The file data is corrupt. Program: <path>\BNUpdate.exe File: <path>\patch.MPQ

Please advise -- is this a problem with the current patch build?

I would suggest reinstalling the game from scratch. Your error message denotes that perhaps your patch.mpq file is corrupt.
