The chat bugs are getting worse and worse each patch, and nobody even acknowledges that they exist or tries to fix them. If the pattern continues, we will be unable to chat at all in 2 or 3 more patches.
Right now:
- Chat windows disappear (Combat Log disappeared on PTR for me).
- Chat windows lose transparancy settings. Mousing over windows will eventually yield completely translucent windows, regardless of your settings.
- Some windows seperate from your General window unlock themselves automatically, even when you've left them locked.
There are probably more, but these are bugs I experience every day in World of Warcraft.
They need to be fixed, and not completely ignored for yet ANOTHER patch.[ post edited by Shlenelli ]

Hi Shlenelli,
Just because I have not responded to a bug report does not mean that we are ignoring it. Every post on this forum gets read by a QA tester. Often I do not respond because I do not have the necessary information or our testers are in the process of researching the issue.
There have been several bugs with the chat interface recently, some have been fixed and some are still active.
The transparency issue we are aware of and it is being addressed.
We have not been able to reproduce chat windows disappearing internally. Perhaps you could provide us with more information on this, when does it happen, how are your windows set up etc.
