The tool tip of the updated Inspiration talent reads...
"Increases your targets armor by 25% for 15 seconds
after getting a critical effect from your Flash Heal,Heal,Greater Heal, or Prayer of Healing spell."
The talent, currently, is only increasing your base armor value that you get from items. Just like the old talent stated it did when the talent cost 5 points to max out. Is this working as intended? or is this a coding bug? The way the skill reads, it should be increasing Total Armor by 25% not just base armor.
The gear I am wearing right now....
Circlet of Prophecy w/+20FR enchant
Pauldrons of Transcendence w/no enchant
Sapphiron D#@!& w/+5 all resistances enchant
Robes of Transcendence w/+4 all stats enchant
Vambraces of Prophecy w/no enchant
Benediction/Anathema w/+22 Int enchant
Crimson Shocker
Eye of the Beast
ZHC
Primalist's Seal
Primalist's Band
Boots of Transcendence w/no enchant
Leggings of Transcendence w/no enchant
Belt of Transcendence
Gloves of Prophecy w/Minor Riding Speed enchant
The Eye of Zuldazar
I tested this with all ranks of all of the spells capable of triggering this talent effect.
My base armor with the gear listed above without Inner Fire on is 778.
Triggering the effect without inner fire nets an increased armor value of 973.
With Inner Fire on, my armor value is 2173. Triggering the effect with inner fire on nets an increase to 2378. 25% increase on 2173 should be 2716.
If the only improvement to Inspiration was the reduction in the number of talent points needed to max out its effect, I can live with that. But the change to the tool tip leads one to believe that how the ability works was changed as well.
If a blue could verify this for me, it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance....
