I have never been able to alt tab out of wow since I got this SLI system. So I have always disabled SLI before playing wow.
Now when I play on the test realm with SLI disabled I get random game freeze. It doesnt freeze my whole computer, iTunes keeps on playing. I can alt-ctrl-del and if I'm lucky alt-F4 to get wow to close and fire it up again. If I leave SLI turned on I don't get the random freeze but I still can't alt tab out.
I can't reproduce the freeze in any same spot. It does seem to be happening more frequently while killing leaper gnomes down by gnomer for cogs then any other place i have been so far. Happened two times in the small leaper camp with the two huts.
I have tried to get answers from nvidia but all the drivers they have had me try still have problems with wow and SLI.
Current beta drivers 84.12
7800 GT x2 in SLI
AMD 4400+ X2 (Duel Core)
Using no UI addons on test server.

The current PTR build has a known freeze issue, to do with ships, zeppelins and elevators. It has nothing to do with SLI. It will be fixed in the next patch.
