The other thread is broken
My 2cp
Make Starshards a DOT
Up its mana cost again
Keep its short Duration (6sec)
Keep it backloaded
Keep it Arcane
Make it Dispelable
Give it a stupidly long Cooldown
this gives us a spell we will use and also keeps the flavor that Starshards had to start off with
Its different from DP in many ways and therefore a viable option for a Night elf Racial
Lets face it
Most people who rolled a night elf did so for Shadowmeld in PvP
This enhances the PvP play style without being overpowered
