Before I get going, let's review what was revealed by everyone's favorite blue: Eyonix
*Greater Heal will now heal for 3k-7k HP and cast in 3.5s (3 seconds with talent points)
-Actually decent. This shoulda been done a long time ago.
*Holy Fire for everyone! And to boot, can be cast in 3.5 seconds or 3 seconds with talents.
-I like the cool flashy fiery look because Im an E-pyro but uhm...The total damage this is capable of doing still makes this a spell that many simply will not use.
*Developers remembered that they left a warrior buff on the priest class somehow. Inner Fire will be...retooled to give +damage to wands?
-WTF Eyonix! We trusted you!!! WHYYYYYY
*Power Word: Shield is being looked at in terms of how much damage it will absorb and it's scaling of absorbtion between ranks
-Le sigh...nerf.
Now I know that there are still spells and abilities yet to be disclosed or even started on finalizing but I know for a fact that if you guys actually gave us priests the number one thing we have been asking for since the game was released that it would of made your post.
Why...in Titans green Azeroth did you guys fail to heed the word of thousands of priests and just give us ANY form of mana regen!?!?!?! I MEAN OMG! We gave you guys a freebie! If you walked out and literally said "New spell on Holy tree that mimics evocate but can be used in combat has been added" we would of thrown panties and roses at you but zomg...More buffs? Yes, because priests Looooooove the fact that for each raid they will need to purchase 20 of 5 diferent reagents instead of just a stack of Sacred Candles.

Since you've decided to pick my statement apart, I will do the same with yours. Except, I'll use fact and actually take the time to read what you've presented.

Read my post again. Greater heal will cast in 3 seconds, 2.5 with talents. As a fellow priest, I'm ecstatic about this change.

You haven't seen all of the changes that we're making for the next patch. This spell, in my opinion will end up being a great opening move, and not necessarily something you're using in mid-battle, depending upon your talent spec.

This spell was designed long ago before wands became so prevalent, and priests did occasionally swing their staff. Such is not the case, therefore we're making the necessary improvements.

Sigh...
I'd suggest waiting for the patch notes to release, since sneak preview change causes you inner turmoil.
