Pertaining to Eyonix's comment on the quote from general paladin purpose and how they don't restrict.
There's a falsity here.
When any class pushes theirselves to the limit and find an insane talent/item build that doesn't match Blizzard's class image, the class gets nerfed.
So the depressing thing about paladin is that if you push yourself to the limit( a la blizzcon ), You will be nerfed until you are back to how Blizzard wanted you to be. Therefore, we are being pigeon-holed into always being what Blizzard wants us to be.
There is no reason to push the limits other than to experience the short term of power until Blizzard beats you down where you're weak again.
And this isn't an arguement of balancing the classes, its about selfish nerfing, limiting freedom and possibility, and dictatorship.

Honestly, if your idea of pushing your limits is to find a good weapon or use a popular talent build, I feel a little sorry for you and those you're grouped with should you engage in a challenging situation.
