First, this is NOT about pulling...
THE QUESTION:
Why are 3 classes (druid, paladin, shaman) deprived of stat or % bonuses by not being allowed to equip something in the ranged slot.
Most of the classes, warrior, rogue, hunter, mage, warlock, priest all get items to put into their ranged/wand slot that give them either ability bonuses or some bonus to an attack, mana, etc. Again, this is nothing to do with pulling or distance attacks.
Now, wands, bows, guns etc, the good ones, all give +stats and +% to abilities. Even if you don't use them, they are passive and giving that character a bonus.
When you start adding epic gear, that slot even becomes more valuable.
YET, 3 classes don't get anything to put in their ranged slot and are basically deprived of any bonus.
It's like saying sorry you don't get a trinket slot.
Why shouldn't we (paladins, shamans, druids) get any added ability bonuses or another type of bonus. Most warriors/rogues minus pulling don't even use their ranged weapon, its just in there for the bonus stats.
Please CHANGE that slot into something that we can use..whether its some magic talisman slot, book slot, etc.
3 classes are NOT getting any bonus and that's not fair.

The developers know about it and have been in discussion about it, but I can't share anything just yet. (Needless to say, though, don't get your hopes up on using ranged weapons or wands.)

Well, the thing is it's not just a Paladin issue. Shaman (don't start, please) and Druids also have an empty slot there.
Therefore, were something added, it'd probably have to complement and aid all three. ;)
