These forums have been a very unfriendly place since even the first rumors of 1.9 came out.
Horde vs Alliance
Specialists vs Generalists
Clerics vs Healing Warriors
At this point we've seen the changes. There's not going to be a massive overhaul. Arguing about what the fundamental design of the paladin should be is pointless. Most people had already beat the horse to death long ago and neither side would ever change their minds. It's beyond the point where you can change the fundamentals anyways.
What minor suggestions we can still TRY to make, we've already been told to put on the Test forum. So there's no place for those here either.
So what does that leave? Build discussion and playing tips? Nothing is actually set in stone yet. We've been told some things will be adjusted as they're play tested. Writing a whole guide around a talent spec that may not exist in 2 weeks is fruitless.
So what are we going to talk about? Well, there seems to be plenty of angry #@%$!ing to go around...
Me, I'm just tired of beating dead horses that no longer have an affect on the final outcome, and debating with the people who are still clinging to said horses in desperation. They're still angry and upset and lashing out at everyone.
Might as well tell a joke. Most of us need a good laugh.

Sounds like you haven't fought Druids who know how to fight Paladins, then, or at least not one heavy into Restoration that understood how to utilize those abilities best in a duel.
I have personally witnessed many a duel between a Druid and a Paladin that was more of an intricate dance than a fight due to the amount of give and take that occurs. I've been in a few of them myself. So kindly do not assume that I don't know what I'm talking about.
