Now that I see your posting on the forums, im just wondering what build you picked and why. Like I know caydiem picked restoration because her guild raids needed more healing (and the other talents are gimped). Please respond =)

All through Beta my Mage was Ice/Arcane, so when the game launched and I had to start over I went with a Fire/Arcane build - which I completely enjoy. My new Mage is full Ice as of right now, but eventually will be a mix of both Ice and Arcane. The survivability I gain from Ice is outstanding, and the vast difference in play-style so dramatic that in some regards it feels like I'm playing an entirely different class.
Also, my new Mage is a Troll. Because Trolls fill my heart with joy. =)

In raid instances, I mean.
To be honest, I don't usually raid in groups where these kind of meters are being used. We found that these types of tools simply forced players to behave in a manner which wasn't very beneficial to the raid party as a whole. I remember specifically an issue with several Shamans casting Chain Heal in situations where it wasn't necessary - simply to boost their rank on the Healing meter.

OHH one more thing eyonix, have you tried using berserking? Personally I dont find it to be that great considering 10% increase in damage taken isnt really something I want. And that if im in WSG I can get a MUCH better berserking then the trolls racials one.
I've not used beserking once with my Mage. However, my Troll Shaman uses it quite often in PvP and when I'm soloing. More than likely improvements to this particular racial trait will be necessary so that it's more beneficial to all available Troll classes.

I for one have spent over 200G testing out new ways to counter the high resist rates of fire spells. When I get some more gold I will be trying a Fire/Ice build and see how that works out.

Fortunately, I have access to internal servers where I'm able to play around with talent builds for any class. One thing I'd recommend for all players is to copy their character over to the PTRs when they go live - if for no other reason than to experiment with a variety of talent builds, similar to what I'm capable of doing internally.

It's fairy redundant to add an "/end sarcasm" at the end of your statement seeing as your intended sarcasm wasn't very subtle to begin with. I can assure you that there are a number of employees here at the studio which play Alliance. I'm fairly confident that I'm in a better position than most to gauge any type of pattern.
We're a fairly mixed bunch, even on the Community Team. You're free to believe otherwise, but I'm not sure what you'd gain.[ post edited by Eyonix ]

That would indicate that the gentleman on the webteam responsible for taking pictures of new content for the website is particularly fond of Horde, not our entire staff. Also, not all pictures have been a Horde side perspective.
