Subject: Slouken, buggy chat system needs revamp
Slouken, the community seriously needs a revamp of the chat system code in a patch. There are currently tons of bugs through the chat system.

All of these occured after completely removing my Interface, WTF, and WDB folder so it is not a problem of UI addons.

Problem 1: Moderation privileges
I'm in channelx, and when I do "/chatwho channelx" I see "[6. channelx] @Kamishimi, player, player2, player3" This means that I should have moderation privileges, and should be able to use commands like "/moderate <channel>", "/ckick <channel> <name>", and "/ban <channel> <name>". That's not the case, however. I can't do anything without getting a "Not a moderator of 6. channelx" message.

Problem 2: Passworded channels
After logging in with a passworded channel previously in my list of joined channels when logging out, I cannot speak in that channel. I can see anyone else that types in that channel, but I cannot do anything. This is occurs also when owner or moderator; at all times no matter the moderation privileges associated with the person. When logging in, the message "Wrong password for 6. channelx" first pops up. Also, the channel does not appear in the list of channels for "/chatwho" I cannot join the channel or talk in the channel, but I can hear anything that goes on in the channel.

I'm sure there are many other problems that I haven't yet run across, but the code that is currently in place seems extremely buggy to me.
I've got to hang up, my phone is almost out of mana.
