I'm requesting that function be added to the client to allow a modder to retrieve the name of the item as it would be on the server. Getiteminfo() returns the name of the item reflected to the language of the client. However, there are several users around the world that use different clients on seperate servers. Example: An english client on a german server would return the english name for the item if using getiteminfo(). This causes several problems with managing and storing item information.
I'm hoping that if getiteminfo() does not get altered then at least have another function that would return the name of the item per the language of the server. Several mods out there have extensive problems with functioning correctly because of this issue. I do hope that blizzard hears my plea and comes up with a solution to this issue.

The servers are all multi-lingual. There are only the languages of the clients. :)
