If a warlock enslaves a demon and accidentally drags one of the skill buttons off the bar, there's no way to ever get that skill back again.
Enslaved pets don't get a spellbook tab, and since all the methods to pick up pet skills involve that or dragging them off the bar, well, if you drop one it seems your out of luck.
Getting a new one won't work(the pet bar remains with a gap in it) and deleting all your UI mods doesn't work either.
Any way to add a way to get lost skills back?

Actually, in 1.9 if you do that the next time you log in, your bar will be restored in all its splendor.
You're not actually supposed to be able to drag the enslaved pet skills off the bar, I'll look into that when I get a chance.

No, you should be able to drag those back out of your pet spellbook and put them on the pet bar.

I confirmed that with the default UI, you can't actually drag enslaved demon's abilities off the bar and lose them. They go into the cursor, but they remain on the bar.
Are you using a non-standard pet UI, or do you have reproduceable steps with the default UI?

Well, if you get a chance, please try to reproduce it on the test server. If you don't get a chance, don't worry about it, you should be fine with 1.9
