Subject: Pre-Patch Blitz - Question for Mod developers
   I had a thought come to me, as I realized I was dreading 1.9. The thought was 'Oh dear God it's going to be a nightmare for a week after the patch again!'

...Is it possible, since the concise changes thread is stickied up there, to pre-emptively post addons that will work with 1.9? I know we can't pin down a specific date, but maybe every monday before the maintenance period, we could have the most recent version of an addon posted to the major sites? I say every monday because with a big PTR like the one up right now, there might be revisions to the patch that might adversely affect plugins designed to run on 1.9

Anyways, thank you for reading this, my main intent was just to get my idea out here. ^-^
We'll always remember what it was like to fly. ;_;

Q u o t e:

Also the crash when calling SaveBindings() is a current issue on test server, but that bug will hopefully be fixed before the live patch is released.

I hadn't seen this reported, can someone post details?

Thanks!

Q u o t e:
Confirmed calling SaveBindings() causes:

ERROR #132 (0x85100084) Fatal Exception
Program: E:\WoW\WoWTest\WoW.exe
Exception: 0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 001B:007350F5

The instruction at "0x007350F5" referenced memory at "0x00C81000".
The memory could not be "written".

This is fixed, thanks!
