Subject: 0.8 worldframe
currently (live client) I use windowed mode. my desktop resolution is 1280x960. I run wow's window at 1280x768, the bottom portion of my screen, under wow, is dedicated to stuff like irc or whatever. I have to use maximizer.exe (3rd party) to remove the title bar and borders since the built-in function automatically makes the window full screen. it would be great if it did otherwise but that's another topic.

anyway, when I loaded up the test client I noticed the world frame did not automatically change with the abnormal window resolution. I'm somewhat familiar with lua and the wow api, I managed to get it to look right with SetPoint but then my mouse cursor was "off", it didn't correspond exactly with where it appeared to be. how would somebody, using the default ui and config options, use a wide resolution and have the world frame size with the new resolution instead of the game just putting extra space there?

sorry if this is really confusing, I've been awake for a very long time

for some pre-emptive answers: I tried loading the test client with neither an interface nor wtf directory. and no, I wasn't using maximizer.exe with it (although it does work fine). load up a fresh install, change video options to 1280x768 windowed mode and the window is fine but the world frame is still at 1024x768

Try again in the next test server update. A couple of bugs were fixed that might be affecting you.
