Apologies in advance for the long winded post... :)
So I installed CT_RaidAssist (latest version 1.22) because I was utterly tired of not seeing my entire raid groups health (please do something with your UI about this Blizz!!).
I only have it enabled for my 60 druid. No other toon has it enabled.
I played my 32 mage the other day and all worked well just as it had before the addon.
I played my 20 Warrior the other day w/ no problems, until last night.
I'm in Redridge Mtns running through the Redridge Gnoll quest chain. I just completed the 'kill 10 Brutes and 8 mystics portion of the chain. I go to turn in my quest and receive my reward. The text says choose your reward, this ring or these boots (I go for the ring cause I only have 1 atm). This is where things get weird. I click the ring..... nothing happens (it does not highlight) weird... I click the boots... same thing. I click accept, thinking well maybe the text is wrong or I misread it and I realy get both items. I know that if it's an either or reward, the system makes the 'you can't do that sound' and I am forced to pick one or the other. Soooo upon clicking accept, nothing happens again... strange....
I hang out a second then press accept again. This time it works, sort of.... I have now just accepted the next quest in the chain, though the screen for the quest reward was the last thing I saw. I never was able to view the 'scroll' that comes up explaining the quest. I then check my bags and there is no quest reward... neither the boots nor the ring.
It looked to me like a lag issues. I've seen quest related lag before, so I thought 'eh this lagged and I didn't get my reward, doh!' Sent a GM a ticket explaining what happened.
I received a form letter initially saying that I should abandon and reaccept the quest, but of course I CAN'T do that, because it was already completed... I write back explaining that I appreciated the form letter, but it does not address my issue in anyway... ;)
I then get another email saying that they will not rectify it and that if I'm using a custom UI, it can affect how my rewards are handled....
How exactly can this be? Are others not getting quest rewards because they're using CT_RaidAssist? Honestly, I believe the GM is using this as a cop-out because they won't give me my quest reward for something I completed, yet don't really have a good reason for it (they should be able to confirm my inventory as well as what quests I've completed).
Any insights would be greatly appreciated.[ post edited by Hugenormous ]

FYI, they're not blaming the addons, they're simply eliminating them as a possible cause of the problem. The first thing you should do, before you even report a problem to a GM is back up and remove your Interface and WTF folders, and try again without any addons. Then, when you report the problem to the GM, you can bypass that first step.
