Subject: AddOns: MozzPack 1.05 - released July 12th
This is the latest release of MozzPack (v1.05 - 20050712), a collection of AddOns designed for the standard WoW UI.

You can download the file (MozzPack_20050712.zip) from here: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=4046
(I don't have a direct link for the readme file at the moment, but it is included in the .zip file)

This release is tested against the July 12th, 2005 patch (version 1.6.0). There are only minor changes (see below)

This release contains 14 AddOns which includes most of the AddOns I use with WoW:
  • MozzActionBindings - Provides key bindings for each of the action slots on bars 5 and 6. This is a convenience for people who prefer keyboard shortcuts and want to bind some "out of sight" actions to keys.
  • MozzAltCamera - Temporarily puts the camera into "manual" mode (no camera follow, no water collision) while you hold down ALT.
  • MozzBattlefieldTweaks - Provides some tweaks to help players with battlegrounds. This version only contains some support for remembering the flag carrier, but I might add other stuff in the future. :)
  • MozzBuffTimers - Adds small colored timers below each buff. This was originally based on Telo's BuffTimers, but lots of changes have been made.
  • MozzChatTweaks - Lets you shift-click on hyperlinks to re-link them (based on Relinker 1.02 by Darco), and prevents resizing handles from capturing mouse clicks when the chat window is locked.
  • MozzEasyMail - Fills in last mail recipient and subject fields automatically. Also auto-completes the names of guild members (which it will cache automatically now).
  • MozzFullWorldMap - Adds a 'Show Unexplored Areas' toggle checkbox to your world map. (Perfect for lazy explorers, and those who've seen it all before!)
  • MozzItemSellPrice - Remembers the vendor sell price for items you have in your inventory when you visit a merchant. Known prices will always appear in inventory tooltips.
  • MozzPvPTimer - Adds a small timer above the PvP icon when you are PvP-flagged, so you can tell when your flag will turn off.
  • MozzSmartCast - If ALT is pressed or you don't have a friendly target, friendly spells are cast on yourself. Also, casting buffs on a character who is too low to receive them will automatically cast a lower rank of the same buff instead.
  • MozzSoundVolumeFix - A workaround/fix for the sound volume bug after alt-tabbing.
  • MozzTinyBar - Adds 24 tiny, transparent buttons just above XP bar. Derived in part from (and incompatible with!) Telo's BottomBar.
  • MozzTooltipPvPHack - Reduces the verbosity of player/NPC tooltips, by removing the line with "PvP Enabled" or "PvP Disabled" from the tooltip.
  • MozzTweaks - Assorted small UI changes. This list comes from the readme file:
    • When receiving quests, the text fades in faster (speed 100 instead of 30).
    • You can only drag actions off your action bar if you hold down Shift (prevents accidentally dragging them off during combat).
    • Suppresses the annoying "igBackPackClose" sound (the drumroll which normally plays when you close a container window).
    • Adds confirmation dialogs to the purchasing of bank bag slots and stable slots (reduces the risk of buying an expensive slot by accident!)
    • Adds confirmation dialogs when leaving or disbanding a guild.
    • Changes the guild-invite message ("So-and-so invites you to SomeGuildName") to read "So-and-so invites you to the guild SomeGuildName" (for clarity)
    • Adds a slash command ("/stuck") to activate the auto-unstuck functionality.
    • Adds echo() script function and /echo slash command (to aid Lua debugging).
    • Changes the buyout button text in the AH from yellow to light grey (to reduce confusion with silver and gold icons).
    • Fixes the positions of several close boxes which were slightly misplaced since the Christmas 2004 patch.
    • Fixes the map zone bug after /console reloadUI (handy for mod authors).
    • Prevents the casting bar, breath/exhaustion meters and rested indicator from intercepting mouse clicks.
    • When you go to a trainer, hides "unavailable" skills by default.
    • Makes the minimap very slightly transparent, and makes the background of standard inventory/bag frames slightly transparent (to help notice moving creatures underneath).
    • Sets the color of enemy names in tooltips (and hostile faction-bars) to be solid red (looks better than the default brownish color).
    • When you click on items in the loot window, they will appear greyed out until it finishes looting them (to provide visual feedback to the player that they have clicked that button).
    • Fixes a bug where the title text above the minimap does not update properly in certain cases (crossing from wetlands into Dun Algaz on a PvP server, for example).

Changes since version 1.04:
  • Minor updates for the 1.6.0 patch.
  • The functionality of MozzStickyItems is now part of the standard UI, so that AddOn has been retired.
  • Auto-completion of guild members is now part of the standard UI mail frame, so that feature of MozzEasyMail has been removed.
  • MozzSmartCast will no longer switch targets on you if you ALT-cast a buff with a friendly guard targeted.
  • Re-enabled the map fix for /console reloadui in MozzTweaks (I accidentally disabled it in 1.04). The bug it works around is fixed in the 1.7.0 patch.
Changes since version 1.03:
  • New addon: MozzBattlefieldTweaks.
  • MozzSmartCast will no longer incorrectly cast your lowest-rank of buffs on friendly skull targets, such as Alterac Valley bosses (thanks Daniel!)
  • Removed a bogus "Detect Magic" entry from MozzSmartCast (thanks Jay!)
  • MozzPvPTimer now moves the group-leader crown slightly to avoid covering it.
For older changes, see the readme file.

It turns out that I like the standard WoW UI more than any other MMORPG user interface I've used. Kudos to Blizzard for a well-designed UI! You may be able to use some of my AddOns with other third-party UIs such as Cosmos, Gypsy, CT_Mod etc., or with other stand-alone AddOns, but I have not tried that and you're on your own if you do.

If you find bugs or have suggestions, you can post a response in this thread. Or, my e-mail address is in the readme file.
You can also use this forum thread at WoWInterface: http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1166

But please don't bug me if it doesn't work with Cosmos. :)

Hey Mozz, you might mention that a few of your tweaks are in the default UI now (shift-clicking item links, guild mail completion, close boxes fixed, etc.)
