It's great and all that they are fixing the survival tree. However, personally I still want to remain as a MM hunter. All my gear is in support of my MM hunter and my play style and strat is all about my MM hunter. I understand that the survival tree needed to be fixed drastically, but there are still issues concerning aspects of the hunter that are not just survival. For instance our dmg output is inferior to a rogue, mage, or even a dmg spec'ed warrior, our pet's effectiveness drops off drastically at higher lvls, our weapons are very limited, and there is little need for multiple hunters in groups. I just hope that the immense task of fixing the survival tree has not overshadowed the need to improve the overall hunter, not just the ones that want to go surival. Because even if lacerate is better now many of us will still not train that to get it, but we still have problems of our own.

You should probably read the part where it says that the Survival changes aren't the only changes going in, but they're the ones on which I have the most information. ;) [ post edited by Caydiem ]

Indeed, you're a pet class that focuses on range. Isn't it odd, then, that you have an entire talent tree that focuses on something that doesn't really enhance your strengths? Don't you think that should be changed to be a viable option for Hunters that want to enhance said strengths?
